Finalmente we turned in a bunch of the papers in your binders today. So, first half of the alphabet. Here is the list of things being turned in:
So here is the tracker sheet. The two websites to use are Spanish Experiment and Spanish Boom also on my Canvas. Spend at least 30 minutes a week on these stories and filling in the tracking sheet. I will also put up some more speaking activities for Canvas as the IPA's are right around the corner. We did the 501 activity with the story books on Monday.
On Thursday, we studied vocab together (the first 10 words from Un Día Normal and your neighbor passed you off. Then I reminded you of the endings for the two types of past tense verbs using this PowerPoint. Then we added more verbs to our ongoing list. Then we did an info gap activity. We two partners took turns asking questions of each other to find out the answers that they were missing. We will be doing lots of reading from home through the resources that I have shared on Canvas. Today we did a lot of PAPER in class! I gave out some great reference materials. We watched a video about an authentic Spaniards daily life and answered questions about it. Then we did a warm-up reviewing how to conjugate conjugate reflexive verbs. Lastly, we put a daily routine into a logical order.
Today we had a catch up day for Canvas. We did listen to a song, "Jueves" by La Oreja de Van Gogh. It is a song written about the Madrid Bombings on March 11, 2004. We filled in the blanks on a worksheet. I added the Reflexive Comprehension Quiz on Canvas. I had to add these verbs to Reflexive Verb Definition Quizlet to assist with this quiz: quedarse (to stay), preocuparse (to worry) sentarse (to sit) sentirse (to feel) enojarse (to get angry)
