I took roll and then you got 10 points for bringing party assignment. If you were gone and didn't know, you don't miss points. If you weren't here you don't miss points. Then I handed out an itty bitty worksheet on Coco and we watched the movie in Spanish with Spanish subtitles. I didn't give stamps. You will get one next time if you were here and you brought your assignment. I will give those packet stamps next time. Be sure to know how to conjugate a Reflexive Verb, especially the ones in this unit.

We played catchup today. We worked on both packets (Rodrigo and Mi Vida Occupada) together. Then we did a charade/speaking activity. We will have our first Fiesta el jueves para El Día de Los Muertos!!! Bring your assigned item or ANY EDIBLE item. No napkins or plates unless you signed up for that. This is a point activity so don't forget!!! Next week we will have quizzes on vocab and reflexive verb conjugations so study your quizlets. Here is a video that helps explain if you are still confused,
So, this is what information I left for the sub.
Check your homework. Just stamp homework not calendar. Have student put sentences on the board so you can check your work. (I left the answers). I am not having you do the rest of packet without me because its too hard. I am having you study quizlets in class. Quiz on the reflexive verb one with pictures (you also have them in your packets) is on Tuesday. Know the Spanish. Then I have a different activity for you to do in class that I will count as homework. Just specific sections. The True/False, Multiple Choice and on the last section you are circling that example of the verb with number of which verb it is. If she decides to deal with my broken aux cord she might let you watch Coco in Spanish with Spanish subtitles and a worksheet. If not, we will do another time (party on Día de los Muertos). There was no homework. We talked about tools in the toolbox and how I need to teach you to have all of the right tools but you can then use the tools to build whatever you want. I gave you a packet on Daily Routines and you were assigned all but the last page (front and back). We will have a vocab/verb quiz on Tuesday the 29th and una fiesta de Día de los Muertos on Thursday October 31st.
We finish off any bienvenidas! We review the story and turn in Calendars!! Grades will be final after calendars! Happy Fall Break!
You had a sub. Turned in pesos. Did some bienvenidas and got La Moneda as homework. You were supposed to read it twice and get their signatures.
Today we got stamps for easy adjective paper. We took the written assessment. We did un montón de bienvenidas and you got a coloring picture of una máscara del día de los muertos por puntos extras y vocabulario del día de los muertos. Write sentences on the back.
Today you received a free stamp for last time and a stamp for doing the weather/surprise vacation sentences. Then we did practice speaking for IPA and then I went around and graded everyone on IPA. Some didn't get to in A4. Will do the Writing IPA for this unit on Thursday. Homework was green adjective sheet - muy facil!!! If you haven't done your bienvenida for WHATEVER REASON....MUST DO BY END OF TERM--BE PREPARED!!!
Today was filled with speaking activities and lots of staying in the language to practice for your Speaking Assessment on Tuesday. Writing assessment will be on Thursday. I will also collect pesos on Thursday and that will be it for rest of term.
